Yep its a pretty odd name for a shoe - but Rihanna isn't exactly well, not odd. She's the queen of strange and all things street so its not really a surprise that PUMA collaborated with her on a range.
There are 3 new colour ways and they are all available right now! I am obsessed with the white ones. Remixing the iconic PUMA Suede, the PUMA Creeper exudes a little bit of punk and rebel with its notorious creeper platform sole and suede upper. This month’s drop features NEW colour variations of peacoat/cool blue, off white/gum, and coral cloud pink/green/oatmeal.
I have been deliberating on a pair of platform sneakers for a while now. I am terrified that they'll make me look short and chunky. But I like the neutral colour of these platform soles, they're somehow less daunting and definitely less "Spice-Girlish" than ones with white soles.

Superga X Poppy
Poppy Ntshongwana's new range for Superga has finally launched and it is amaaaaazing. I love it when our local girls get scooped up by international brands for collaborations. It makes me giddy with happiness actually. She is such a rockstar - fashion forward, a media sensation and a fantastic role model. Who doesn't want to be like Poppy when they grow up? I bloody do. I know I'm gushing but this lady is probably my favourite SA celeb.
So lets take a peak at the range. Its glam. Its edgy. Its gorgeous. It'll be ready for you to shop at the end of October at Superga Concept Stores nationwide, or on Superbalist.com.
I'm eyeing the light pink satin numbers. Whats your favourite?

fun, fresh and fit - #nomatterwhat
I've been working with PUMA for a while now and I am so lucky to have them. It was their latest launch that got my jiggly butt back to gym and my beloved SWEAT1000 classes again. I left feeling inspired and motivated to work even harder for my Bali trip, but also for summer and my general wellbeing.
Two things that have helped me along the way are the new app, and the new training shoes. If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat, you'll have seen these babies quite a bit. They are so perfect for what I need right now. You see, your average SWEAT1000 class involves a fair amount of running, as well as weight training. They mix it up constantly, so some days you walk in and are handed boxing gloves, while other days there are trampolines waiting for you. Hence my gym shoes need cushioning and stability. And like the name says, its a SWEAT class, so shoes that have maximum breathability is a must.
Lastly, they are niceto look at too. I love the teal and neon yellow colours and the woven air mesh makes for a pretty, sleek design.
PUMA have partnered with some amazing international athletes on their Forever Faster fitness campaign which asks the question, "what are you training for?". The PUMATRAC app helps you make a commitment and stick to it, whether its running, cycling or hitting the gym. It helps with the motivation part - adding some positivity and energy into the mix. And I love the #nomatterwhat thing they've got going on. It encourages a community for those committed to their fitness.
And since summer is just around the corner, why not give the app a try? I use it for running mostly. It is really easy to download and use. I even had to sign a commitment to my fitness. Now that my 50 days of exercise are over, I am worried about slacking off and being disappointed come December. So I'll be using the app to keep this chicken in check.
The Ignite XT trainers retail for R1299 at all PUMA stores - go try them on. You'll fall in love.

PUMA x SWASH
I have become a full-blown sneaker head. I own over 10 pairs and I can't/won't stop. I guess life in Cape Town lends itself to the laid back vibe of the sports- luxe trend that continues to dominate. I am certainly not complaining. Long live the reign of flat shoes and sneakers. My feet are grateful!
Moving on. I've been working with PUMA for a while now and it is a partnership I hope lasts forever more. Their commitment to breaking boundaries and bringing us something fresh never seems to cease. The new PUMA collaboration has to be my favourite one yet. I love the floral designs on the sneakers, matching hoodies and jackets.
SWASH is the combined skills of print specialist duo, Sarah Swash and Toshio Yamanaka - super well-known for the realisation of their signature hand-drawn and painted artworks, SWASH uniquely instil their digital prints with the charm of human touch. The collection is exclusive to PUMA Select and Shelflife and I am totally torn between reliable 'ol grey printed sneakers, or the gorgeous bright tangerine colour! Or both. Both is good.
