Hey, my name is Leigh. I am a textile importer, freelance style and beauty writer, with two degrees in finance that I don't really use. No that does not make any sense. But nothing in life really does.

I live in Cape Town with my rather dashing husband in our beachfront apartment. I started Pretty Mint as a creative outlet and way of documenting and sharing my love for fashion, makeup, travel and whatever inspires me. You'll usually find me shopping, latte in one hand, with my iPhone in the other - most likely browsing online shopping. I'm nothing if not an ambitious multi-tasker.

Pretty Mint is where I hope you'll find inspiration, a laugh or two and a reason to sparkle. I want to share my shopping with you and I hope you'll share yours with me.

Things I love:

Sweets, yoga, running, wine, my dogs, shopping (preferably with no budget), beauty products and make-up, dainty jewelry and more sweets.

Things I loathe:

Cats and having a budget.
