My love affair with Shelly & Harry Jewellery

Ever since Shelley & Harry jewellery came onto my radar, I have been in love. Obsessed even.
I adore dainty jewels and Shelley Roberston is a truly gifted creator of the most lovely pieces.
She is pretty much on my husband's speed dial for whenever he needs a gift he knows will get him some serious brownie points!

On top of all the talent, I think I also love her just because her branding is all about
her gorgeous pup Harry - and the stylish sausage even has a line of handbags!
Who wouldn't want this guy as a business parter?

Back to the jewellery - you need to have a look at the website to indulge your eyeballs in the gorgeousness of the Coco range, my personal favorite. The Goddess and Love Gold collections are a tied second place in my opinion.
Over the past 2 years I have managed to collect a few pieces across her Coco, Floral and Love Gold collections, as well as having a bespoke rose gold and amethyst necklace made up just for me. All of them are sacred to me, and have much sentimental value as every single one was a gift from my hubby.

I'd like to share my favorites with you - pics borrowed from Shelley's website, blog and Facebook pages.

Ladies, this is the good stuff. The stuff to pass down to your daughter (not your daughter-in-law, she'll never be good enough).

Currently Coveting - Splurge Edition

So all I want this week is a Prada bag, a Kate Spade ring, a Kate Spade watch and some Ray-Bans.
No biggie. Just need to rob some people and I'll be sorted.

(Disclaimer: Pretty Mint does not advocate stealing in order to acquire pretty and material things.)

(Disclaimer to the Disclaimer: Kidding. Do it, its a Prada bag for crying out loud!)

Gorgeous Gear for your Run with Mr P!

Now that I have signed up for Two Oceans, and am getting my behind on to that promenade on a regular basis, I am suddenly hugely aware of how your workout gear makes you feel.
Not to mention that the promenade in Cape Town doesn't exactly attract an ugly crowd - so fit in or feel fugly!

I have also found a direct correlation between how I look in my workout clothes, to how well the run goes. Its totally superficial and ridiculous on so many levels, but when I look in the mirror before I head out and I am in some cute, brightly coloured running vest that matches my tights/shorts/cap/shoes/heart rate monitor - I feel better, run harder and for longer.

I was never someone who had a shelf dedicated to workout wear, until now. And I love it. Its great for motivation, and another excuse to go shopping!

However, this need not break the bank, and with Mr P online carrying such a great range of activewear,  you have no excuse! Their ranges online, and at their Mr Price Sport stores are gorgeous and you can find most tops and crop tops between the R40 - R100 mark. So buy one for each day of the week and feel fit and fabulous!

Here are some of my picks from the latest range online. Check out http://www.mrp.co.za

Currently Coveting...

I am obsessed with navy right now, and I found a few gorgeous pieces from the latest collection from Abercrombie & Fitch. I love their clothing, and while it is available through Edgars (I think), its really overpriced here. So for now I just stalk them online.

I will definitely be returning to A&F when we are back in the USA in August - hopefully these items are still around, and even better - on the autumn sale rail! They also have the most divine fragrance I wish I'd bought last time, so won't be coming home without it this time around!!!

So here is what I am currently coveting...

Currently Coveting...

Here is a quick round-up of what caught my eye this week on my mall trawls and the interwebs.

I know you're all familiar with retailers such as Mr P and Forever New - but don't forget to support the up and coming kids like Model Citizen who are rocking the City Bowl Market on Saturdays, as well as Blaauwklippen Family Market on Sundays.
