New lingerie online store is a Triumph

Very punny heading I know, but I couldn't help myself.

I've been unacceptably quiet, so to beg you for forgiveness and to buy your love, I have a great giveaway from a new online store. If you aren't shopping online in 2014 you need your head read. SA's e-commerce industry is taking off in a big way with most fashion retailers and boutiques now offering their product online.
Triumph has just joined cyber space and I could not be happier. I am not a fan of shopping for lingerie in-store. Most of the assistants don't know what they're talking about and I have even had one offer me 3 other bra sizes upon seeing that my size was sold out. Um, thanks, but thats not how it works. Thats not how it works at all lady.
Triumph have hundreds of sensual, seductive and even sensible bras push-ups, corsets, panties and more to choose from. You can also check your fit with the Fit Finder section, which tells you how, where and what to measure and provides the corresponding size - easy no?

So we all know our size and can shop luxury lingerie and sports underwear in peace now, thanks to Triumph. I went with a pretty yet practical grey lacy set and it fits like a dream.

So to celebrate their new store, they've given me a R350 voucher to give away.

All you need to do to win is:

Tell me your worst in-store experience while buying lingerie in the comments section or on Twitter

Competition closes on Friday and the winner will be announced on the 22nd.

  1. I'm not sure if its horrible and a worse experience but it is certainly cringe-worthy... when there are guys trying to shop for their ladies on their own, or unsupervised in the lingerie section and they don't know what they are looking at or what sizes they are looking for. It can at times be funny watching the disdain on their faces but at other times it can be off putting! It's always a queue for me to leave the store and I'll continue to browse or shop elsewhere.

  2. A pair of panties got stuck on my jeans when exiting the fitting rooms. I walked to the cashier to pay for the merchandise chosen and got these seriously weird looks and stares from customers and the cashier. I only realised when she pointed to my rear side what had happened and had to explain to security and plead not to arrest me. It was an accident. So now I don't take more that two items to the fitting rooms.

  3. I once went to a store to get new bras, in wandering around some male store assistance came and approachedo me. I that moment I had no choice but to tell him that I needed to buy bras but not sure of my size. 🙆

He got so shy and quickly said let me get you some help.

  4. I think at some point in my late High school year's, my mom and I had made appointments to the newly opened lingerie store in our town. We were told to fill out the same surveys and I was confronted with the same attitude because I did not have any major fit issues. We had been waiting about 15 minutes and finally our names were called…actually my mom's name was called. She was taken back to the fitting rooms while I was still waiting my turn. 45 minutes later I was taken back to begin my fitting. The salesgirl immediately insulted the bra I was wearing and proceeded with her "holistic" trial/error style of fitting. Anyways it was truly a horrible experience with the waiting alone (especially since we followed directions of booking appointments) and neither of us walked away with purchases. My mom (after trying on possibly every bra in the store) was finally told they didn't carry her "true" size. They even pulled the "sister size" selling technique (up in the band, down in the cup). She was also told they could do alterations or she could buy extenders. I was excited to check out this shop especially after all the hype. I was extremely disappointed and will also never return. It’s good to hear we weren't the only ones who have had this “worst in-store” experience while buying lingerie.

  5. @PrettyMintBlog @TriumphSA my worst in store experience was a few Christmases ago when I decided to purchase a Triumph Seductive Push-up bra. I 've always been hesitant and anxious about undressing completely in store but on this ocassion, all reservation gone, I stood there topless admiring my girls in their new sexy support! I just unclasped the hook, and my luscious boobs fell out, when a mum pulled open the curtains, wide open too and in front of me, were her twin babies in her trolley, looking very hungry!

  6. Staying in Klerksdorp our choices for shopping for lingerie is limited so we had to go to our local Edgars for our bra shopping and the saleslady was very very adamant to measure your size EVERY TIME you went into the shop and my mom and I love to shop so it happened on a weekly basis!!
